Brashae and Deshawn Senior Prom

I had a fun opportunity to photograph this young lady and her friend going to their senior prom. With all of the publicity and people at the event you would have thought I was photographing a celebrity. I guess your senior prom does make you feel like a celebrity especially when you're surrounded by family and friends.

THE POWER OF CELL PHONES

You will be amazed at the power of a cell phone. People have been pushing the limits more and more to prove that it is not about the equipment but what you do with the equipment. The limits are endless. I have seen fstoppers shoot the iphone fashion shoot with an iPhone 4 and it looks great. If you have the right equipment you can do anything.

The more you practice the better you are. If you put your mind to it, it can be done. Check out the iphone 5s Bentley ad courtesy of BGR the ad was shot on an iPhone 5s and edited using iMovie. When you think that this video was shot on an iPhone it is mind blowing. And when I see things like this and all the photos and videos Simeon Quarrie is doing in the UK (not with an iPhone) it really inspires me to do better. I have the equipment I just need to get out and start shooting.

Perfect Studio Location

My studio is in the heart of downtown York,PA. While York is not a big town it's full of artist with big passion. I have met many people of all color and backgrounds and we all have one thing in common, art.

The people here in York love the art, and my studio is one of the newest members on the block. My studio is located one block South of the White Rose Restaurant and Central Market. I'm across the street from the Green Bean coffee shop and the police station. I have a camera store that's a block away and my barber shop is just a few doors down. I'm hoping to be here for a long time and I'm looking forward to help build up the community.
